    Jeremiah Wilkinson Enters Transfer Portal

According to insider Joe Tipton, Wilkinson will enter the transfer portal after having an outstanding rookie season in college basketball. The ACC Sixth Man of the Year averaged 15.1 points per game for the Bears.

The question now is where will the Georgia native end up?

Here are five potential landing spots for the soon-to-be sophomore guard:

    North Carolina

The Tar Heels will soon need a point guard, as senior guard R.J. Davis will be leaving after the NCAA Tournament.

An explosive point guard who can score at will could be exactly what Hubert Davis needs long-term. Davis should be all over Wilkinson here.

    Marquette

Like North Carolina, head coach Shaka Smart and his Marquette team will lose their senior guard after the NCAA Tournament ends.

Kam Jones (19.3 points per game) is one of the best scoring guards in America, which is why he is a consensus All-American. The addition of Wilkinson could be huge for the Golden Eagles.

    Tennessee

As great a head coach as Rick Barnes is, he will have to find a way to become an even greater recruiter as he is about to lose his leader, senior guard Zakai Zeigler.

As a true playmaker on offense and an elite defender, replacing Zeigler will be a tall ask. However, Wilkinson comes close to fitting the mold.

    Gonzaga

Head coach Mark Few is one of the best backcourt coaches in America and has had plenty of success in his career recruiting and developing guards.

With senior guard Ryan Nembhard on his way out of the door soon, Wilkinson could stay on the West Coast and head up to Spokane.

    Louisville

The Cardinals had a resurgent season this year thanks to point guard and ACC Defensive Player of the Year Chucky Hepburn.

But with the senior heading away from the program after the season, there is an opening on a contending ACC team. Wilkinson could be an integral part of Pat Kelsey’s team next year.
