The Houston Cougars’ win over the Texas Tech Raiders delighted both their fans and the players, who celebrated in the locker room.
The Cougars had to fight hard for the win but eventually prevailed 69-61 to edge closer to securing another Big 12 title. The win was Houston’s seventh consecutive, improving their conference record this season to 16-1.

Houston Players and Fans Celebrate Win Over Texas Tech
Following the win, Houston players took to their locker room to celebrate. In a video shared on the team’s official X account, formerly known as Twitter, the players were seen jumping for joy, with the coach also joining in the celebration.

This bug also caught fans on social media, who all expressed their delight after watching the video.
“Admin I can’t sleep, I am too fired up,” a fan said.
“I can’t even sleep I’m so fired up, another fan echoed the same statement.
“LOVE IT‼️😍🏀🔥💪🏾🖤❤️🐾🎉👏🏾,” a fan showed his delight with a bunch of emojis.
The comments kept coming as fans shared their excitement after the win.
“Congratulations COOGS!” another fan said.
“Go Coogs!!! Well deserved!” a fan shared the same view.
“respect to Coach being a defensive team like a real one in this offensive era of basketball is special,” a fan said.
Milos Uzan the Star in Houston’s Win Over Texas Tech
The Cougars have 6-foot-4 point guard Milos Uzan to thank for the win. Uzan was the star of the show after dropping a career-high 22 points, including three 3-pointers in his 11th consecutive game for the Cougars.
Uzan was supported by forward J’Wan Roberts, who added 16 points with a career-high 10 made free throws. Roberts also recorded three assists and seven rebounds in the game.

It was a perfect shooting night for the Cougars as they shot 50% from beyond the arc (6 of 12) and made 19 out of their 23 free throws (83%), including a clutch one from Uzan in the final seconds of the game.
