Standing at 6’11” and possessing impressive athleticism, Nelson will be a valuable defender, particularly against smaller and shorter players.

Top 5 Potential Landing Spots for the Alabama’s Forward
Dallas Mavericks: This is a great fit for Nelson because, with the presence of great shooters on the Mavericks, his inconsistent three-point shooting would not be a major concern. Nelson’s ability to effectively block shots and protect the rim is a skill the Mavericks lack, making him a great addition in this respect.
Brooklyn Nets: With his height and physicality, Nelson could fill a need for a team like the Nets that lacks a strong power forward. His versatility to play multiple positions on the court adds further appeal. Similar to the Mavericks, the Net could also improve Nelson’s shooting.
Philadelphia 76ers: As a strong contending team in the NBA, the 76ers could push Nelson’s competitiveness in high-pressure situations. Nelson’s scoring ability will add to the team’s scoring depth.

Chicago Bulls: Nelson’s ever-improving scoring and rebounding skills would make him a key distributor to a Bulls team that struggles in those areas. In turn, playing alongside effective slashers like Zach LaVine would help improve Nelson’s ability to attack the rim.
Golden State Warriors: With players like Trayce Jackson-Davis and Kevon Looney, Nelson can only get better in his rim-protecting ability. The Warriors need a strong power forward, and Nelson’s size, athleticism, and defensive ability could help fill that gap.
Nelson would be a key contributor to any of the teams above because of his versatility. Each team offers a unique environment that could help him grow. However, with Philadelphia’s coaching staff and Star Players, Nelson could thrive with the 76ers.
