The Duke Blue Devils continue to be one of the greatest college basketball teams year in and year out because they know how to recruit. A year after the team successfully recruited superstar forward Cooper Flagg, they have successfully recruited forward Cameron Boozer.

Cooper Flagg’s Opinion of Cameron Boozer
It is safe to say that Flagg, who faced off against Boozer in high school, is extremely happy to see Boozer commit to playing at Duke.
“He’s an incredible player…He does all the right things…He’s such a talent,” Flagg recently said of Boozer.
Cooper Flagg and Cameron Boozer have squared off countless times. It’s farfetched to think they could be teammates next season. But since Boozer was in the house today, I asked Flagg what Duke basketball is getting in the five-star forward: pic.twitter.com/3NTTeYUed5

Flagg knows all about great basketball, seeing as he is perhaps the biggest reason why the Duke Blue Devils are sitting at the No. 2 spot in the nation. The Maine native is averaging 19.4 points per game, 7.6 rebounds per game, and 4.1 assists per game.
It is fair to say that Boozer’s addition could make the team even better, assuming Flagg stays on next season.
What Boozer Brings to the Duke Blue Devils
A two-time Mr. Basketball in the state of Florida and a McDonald’s All-American, Boozer has the chance to be a real force for head coach Jon Scheyer and Co. next season in Durham.
This season, the son of NBA legend and former Duke star Carlos Boozer is averaging a career-best 22.6 points per game, 12.0 rebounds per game, and 3.2 assists per game.
If he ends up producing those numbers in ACC play, possibly alongside a future NBA star like Flagg, the sky could really be the limit for this team.

Remember, the team is still trying to win its first national title in the post-Coach K. era.
Adding a versatile player like Boozer, who can play multiple positions and guard multiple positions, could give Scheyer the opportunity to be flexible with his lineups each and every game.
Time will tell whether or not this current Blue Devils team can win a title this season without the help of Boozer. If they were to accomplish that goal this year, the rest of the country might want to look out for this team next year when it is moving on all cylinders.
