Many College basketball fans have taken to social media to express their awe and congratulate Collin Murray-Boyles following his impressive 35-point haul for the South Carolina Gamecocks in their 72-53 win over the Arkansas Razorbacks at the Colonial Life Arena on Saturday, March 1.
It was a night characterized by poor shooting from John Calipari’s visiting Razorbacks, and the Gamecocks took advantage.

How Murray-Boyles Steered the Gamecocks to Victory
South Carolina has struggled in the ever-dominant Southeastern Conference this season as they are 12-17.
But they showed some of what they could do on their day, and Murray-Boyles was at the center of it all.
The 19-year-old forward hit a career-high 35 points on 12-of-16 shooting. He also had seven rebounds and four steals to follow.
Arkansas performed poorly, scoring just 14 points in the first half, its worst performance in the last 14 years.
The Gamecocks took advantage of the Razorbacks’ shooting slump, outscoring them 32-14 in the first half. Murray-Boyles scored more than half of this team’s points, contributing 20 in the first half.
How Did the Fans React to South Carolina’s Win?
Many hoops fans were giddy about Murray-Boyles’s feat, which capped a beautiful weekend for South Carolina. His girlfriend Chloe Kitts scored 16 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists for the female team in their 75-59 win at Ole Miss. It was the team’s first triple-double in four years.
