One of the many reasons the NCAA Tournament is such a blast for fans is that they get to make their own brackets and predict the winner. This tradition is upheld by practically everyone in the country, from casual basketball fans to even politicians.
Former President Bill Clinton recently made headlines when he revealed who he picked to “win it all” in San Antonio, Texas.

Who is Bill Clinton Predicting to Win It All?
The 42nd President of the United States spoke recently with Hoops HQ about why he loves the NCAA Tournament and why he thinks the Alabama Crimson Tide will win it all this year.
“I just love it. It’s all or nothing. It doesn’t matter what you did in the season. You have to play… (Alabama’s) got so many different, good players… They’ve got the most talent.”
While President Clinton is a huge fan of his home state Arkansas Razorbacks, the former president’s pick of the Crimson Tide to win it all is certainly interesting.
Then again, Coach Nate Oats’s team is deep, talented, and has plenty of experience playing in big games.
Why Alabama Can Win the NCAA Tournament
Simply put, Alabama is one of the country’s most complete teams.
The Tide endured a brutal conference season in arguably the most competitive conference in America. Despite not winning the SEC in the regular season or the conference tournament, they can hang with anybody on any given night.
At 25-8 overall (13-5 SEC), Oats’s team sports a solid portfolio of wins. This season, they have had big victories over No. 1 seed Houston, No. 3 seed Kentucky (three times), and No. 1 seed Auburn.
With senior point guard Mark Sears and big man Grant Nelson leading the way on both ends of the court, the Tide have the chance to go far in March.

Over the last two seasons, the Tuscaloosa team has reached two straight Sweet 16s, a feat Bama hasn’t achieved since the 1990 and 1991 seasons.
Last season, after another solid season in the SEC, Oats led his team to the Final Four. It was the school’s first Final Four appearance in history.
This season, the Tide have a real chance to do that again and more because of that aforementioned experience and talent that inspired former President Clinton to choose them as his eventual champion.
