Matthew McConaughey, Jimmy Haslam, Jack Sawyer and More Celebs Make Appearance for Ohio State-Texas Showdown

The Texas vs. Ohio State showdown has drawn plenty of stars to Columbus to watch the action. It will pit the reigning national champions, Ohio State against the favorite to win a national championship this year, Texas, as both teams’ season opener. This is a must-win game for both teams, especially as both the Longhorns and the Buckeyes are seeking that national title.

Such a high profile matchup has drawn out stars to watch the game, including Cleveland Browns GM Andrew Berry and owner Jimmy Haslam. Haslam, a friend of the Manning family, is rumored to want to draft Arch Manning, who is playing for Texas, though he denies this rumor.

Meanwhile, actor Matthew McConaughey was seen hugging it out with former North Carolina head coach and Texas football legend Mack Brown before kickoff.

Peyton Manning was also there and ready to cheer for his nephew, Arch, and he is doing it from one of the VIP suites.

For Ohio State, former Buckeyes stars Gee Scott, TreVeyon Henderson and Jeremy Ruckert were seen cheering for the home team.

Pittsburgh Steelers star Jack Sawyer also made his Ohio State homecoming along with other former players to cheer for their alma mater.

Mauricio Pochettino, USA Men’s Soccer Team manager, was also seen ahead of kickoff.
