‘Kiffin Got a Stud’: Fans React As LSU Secures Massive Talent in Ex Hawaii WR Jackson Harris

LSU Tigers head coach Lane Kiffin scored a big win on Sunday as they received the commitment of Hawaii transfer wide receiver Jackson Harris. This is a huge upgrade for LSU’s receiving corps, as Harris caught 49 passes for 963 yards and 12 touchdowns and also earned All-conference honors.

The 6-foot-3 receiver was one of the highest-ranked receivers who entered the transfer portal. Moreover, this is LSU’s first major transfer portal addition this offseason.

Lane Kiffin’s LSU To Host Several WRs During Transfer Portal

After leaving the Ole Miss Rebels to become the head coach of the Tigers, Lane Kiffin is looking to make a major roster overhaul to give LSU the best chance to compete in the playoffs.

According to On3, the program will host several wide receivers, including USF wide receiver Iverson Hooks, Florida wide receiver Eugene Wilson, and Kansas State wide receiver Jayce Brown. Moreover, the program is also linked with Wisconsin wide receiver Eugene Hilton Jr.

The Tigers have lost several key figures to the transfer portal and NFL draft, including Zavion Thomas, Aaron Anderson, Kyle Parker, Chris Hilton, Destyn Hill, Kylan Billiot, and Jelani Watkins.

With Ole Miss still active in the playoffs, there is a good chance that once their season is done, several players from there take a transfer and once again reunite with Kiffin in Baton Rouge.

Apart from receivers, Kiffin is also reportedly shopping for quarterbacks with Cincinnati’s Brenden Sorsby and Arizona State’s Sam Leavitt being thought of as an option. It remains to be seen how Kiffin builds the LSU team.
