“Would’ve Been A Perfect Fit At Michigan”: Fans Abuzz As Kalen DeBoer Allegedly Seen Active On Social Media Platform During Beatdown vs Indiana

The Alabama Crimson Tide’s 2025 college football run came to an end after losing their Rose Bowl quarterfinal encounter to the Indiana Hoosiers by a landslide scoreline of 38-3.

However, during their blowout loss, Alabama’s head coach was allegedly active on X, as pointed out by one of the users, as he was allegedly seen liking a post amidst his side’s Rose Bowl matchup.

This prompted a lot of fans to troll the Crimson Tide head coach and his online activity on X, some also making references to a recent college football scandal.

“He would’ve been a perfect fit at Michigan”, wrote a fan referring to the Sherrone Moore scandal.

“You trying to Sherrone Moore him?”😭🤣, remarked a fan.

“Oh no – makes sense why there was talks about him for the Michigan job”, commented a fan.

“If he’d done this before the game started Bama would have won by 20”, stated a fan.

“Getting blown out and still liking tweets is the football equivalent of smiling in a mugshot”, said a fan.

“Suddenly it’s wrong for a football coach to look for talent in the transfer portal”, wrote another fan.

“Imagine if Michigan’s head football coach did this… wait, never mind”, stated another fan.

“Can’t even clown it because if I coached a CFP game I’d still be on Twitter. Just gotta make sure you’re on the burner first Kalen…”, said another fan.

The No. 9 CFP seed, Alabama, faced the Oklahoma Sooners in their first-round encounter, as they emerged victorious with a scoreline of 34-24 before losing their quarterfinal clash against the Hoosiers.

Alabama’s 38-3 Quarterfinal Loss Worst in Program History

Alabama entered the record books for all the wrong reasons after suffering its most severe bowl loss in program history during its 38-3 Rose Bowl loss to Indiana.

As reported by ESPN’s Adam Rittenberg, the defeat marked the first time since 1998 that Alabama found itself trailing by at least 35 points in a game, with the last instance coming in a 42–6 loss to Arkansas.

The loss also represented Alabama’s first defeat by 30 points or more since the 1998 Music City Bowl, when the Crimson Tide fell 38–7 to Virginia Tech, with the 35-point margin still standing as the largest loss Alabama has ever suffered in a bowl game.
