College football analyst Joel Klatt has come to a final prediction for Lane Kiffin amid the LSU vs Florida vs Ole Miss debate during the latest Colin Cowherd podcast called “The Herd.”
Kiffin continues to dodge questions about his future, with the Rebels and the Mississippi Governor official along with fans getting frustrated. Klatt believes if Kiffin wanted to stay at Oxford, he would’ve signed an extension already. He insisted that Ole Miss told Kiffin that the money is not a factor in the situation, hence whatever he is offered from any other place, they’ll match it.
“Now, I don’t know if he can come back to Ole Miss. You can’t lead them on for this long. Now, there’s going to start to be animus. Like, ‘Why aren’t you signing an extension? What’s the problem?’ I think he’s going to Florida – I really do,” he said.
“I think he’s going to Florida and I think he’s going to be the next coach of the Gators, and I think that we’re going to have one of the biggest messes in college football history go down before the Playoff when Lane Kiffin steps away from a College Football Playoff team and goes to coach another team,” he added.

Lane Kiffin Breaks Silence On Ultimatum Rumors From Ole Miss
Many analysts reported that Ole Miss has issued an ultimatum for Kiffin to either sign an extension or that they will move on from him amid the LSU, Florida rumors.
During Kiffin’s latest appearance on the Pat McAfee show on Tuesday, Kiffin shared that the ultimatum rumor is absolutely false.
He clarified that there is no ultimatum and he doesn’t know where the conversation came from, like a lot of the other stuff comes out there, and said that he is currently having a blast with the Rebels.
Kiffin also added that their current run with the program is something fans prayed for, so they should enjoy their current 10-1 overall record.
