Miami has gone on an improbable run to the CFP semifinals, while Ole Miss is continuing to prove that they do not really need Lane Kiffin to win high-pressure games. With the Fiesta Bowl coming up, both teams are coming in with a lot of momentum and plenty to prove. However, that also means that there will also be a few players who are injured that may or may not be taking to the field on Thursday night.
Heading into Thursday’s big game, no high-impact players have been listed as out, though there are a few who are listed as questionable due to injuries or undergoing concussion protocol. With that, here are the players who will be missing or possibly missing the Fiesta Bowl:

Fiesta Bowl: Ole Miss vs. Miami Hurricanes Injury Report
Ole Miss Rebels
- CB Cedrick Beavers: Out
- LB Raymond Collins: Out
- OL PJ Wilkins OL: Out
- John Wayne Oliver: Out
- DL Kam Franklin: Questionable, Concussion Protocol
The Ole Miss have been unstoppable since Lane Kiffin left them for LSU, and many of his former players are determined to prove the doubters that they can make the national title game without him. However, they might not be doing so without one of their star defensive linemen, Kam Franklin, who is currently still undergoing some concussion protocols. Still, the Rebels do not have that many players missing and are hungry to prove themselves.
Miami Hurricanes
- LB Malik Bryant: Out
- WR Daylyn Upshaw: Out
- DB Damari Brown: Questionable
- DL Cole McConathy II: Questionable
- DL Ahmad Moten Sr.: Questionable
The Canes have proven to be this year’s giant killers, scoring one big upset after another and proving many doubters wrong as many believed that they should not even be here and their spot should have gone to Notre Dame. However, here they are, in the Fiesta Bowl, and they are looking a lot healthier than their opponents right now, with just two players confirmed to be out and three possibly playing on Thursday.
How To Watch the Fiesta Bowl
