“Hasn’t Even Been Good”: Emmanuel Acho Serves Brutal Reality Check On Shedeur Sanders Following Loss vs Josh Allen’s Bills

After Shedeur Sanders started his Browns starting quarterback journey with a thrilling win over the Las Vegas Raiders, his performances have not been enough to clinch victories in the games played after that week.

The ex-Colorado star currently sits at an overall record of 1-4 with the latest loss faced against the Buffalo Bills in a week 16 showdown.

The loss was a close one as the Browns ended the game with a 23-20 score, with Shedeur Sanders throwing for 147 yards and securing a touchdown while getting intercepted twice.

Emmanuel Acho opened up about Shedeur Sanders’ Bills performance during his latest “Speakeasy” performance.

“Shedeur hasn’t been great. He hasn’t even been good. He’s shown promise. Um, if we want to level it out, Jaxson Dart hasn’t been great, and he ain’t been good at all. He sucked today. Cam Ward ain’t been great, really, either. The one rookie quarterback that’s been great is Tyler Shough. We just don’t really talk about him. Um, Tyler Shough got four wins on the season, three losses. Like, he’s actually been great. Shedeur’s been a guy. He’s been a guy. He’s been a rookie.”  Acho concluded. (1:25)

Acho further highlighted a problem that Shedeur has, which is not having the luxury of not being great because of where he was drafted, which was at the no.144th overall spot.

Browns Insider Claims Possibility of Shedeur Sanders Trade

Browns reporter Aaron Goldhammer shared his opinion on Shedeur Sanders’ future with the franchise and said that while he doesn’t wanna start a riot for the rookie’s fans, he believes Stefanski and Co. will make the decision to draft another quarterback in the upcoming 2026 NFL Draft and will pick either Fernando Mendoza or Dante Moore and trade Shedeur for a later round pick.

Goldhammer shared that while Shedeur’s progress at Browns has been fine and better than what many people expected, Mendoza or Moore have a higher ceiling of being better franchise quarterbacks.

On the contrary, Emmett Golden believes the Browns will build around Shedeur Sanders as their quarterback

“If they pick another quarterback this season, that will be six picks that you have dedicated to the quarterback position. You can’t live like that.” Golden said.

The Browns will now go against the Steelers in week 17.
