With EA Sports in its second year of its college football video game reboot, many fan-requested changes are being added to the game.
The latest change is making each college football team have a home-stadium walkout that replicates how they enter the field in real life. The game is currently in its closed beta phase, and leaks are being dropped left and right, including a sneak peek at these new walkouts.
Multiple Entrances Leaked in EA Sports College Football 26
One of the entrances that was leaked was the Texas Longhorns, who have one of the most iconic stadiums in the entire country.

As you can see, the detail is awesome as the video starts with Bevo, Texas’s live Longhorn mascot, and then the Longhorns enter the field. The night-game aspect makes the walkout even cooler, as EA even included the drone show that Texas football puts on.
The same X account also got their hands on another leak, this time the Miami Hurricanes‘ entrance into Hard Rock Stadium.

While stuff like this may seem small, it’s this sort of detail that makes the immersion of a college football video game even better.
The fans yelling, the players running out of the tunnel, and even the cheerleaders on the sideline add so many small details that make it feel like you’re actually at the stadium.
EA Sports has long been criticized for the lack of updates on its NFL game, “Madden,” but it seems like the college football programming team is really doing everything in its power to give fans the best product possible.
That said, not every entrance looks all that different than last year’s edition of EA Sports College Football, with Florida State’s appearing nearly identical. Nevertheless, the upgraded graphics and dynamic lighting certainly add a freshness that’s much appreciated.

As more and more leaks from the closed beta come out, it’s clear that EA listened to what the fans were asking for and made changes to deliver us yet another great college football video game.
It’s only fair, as college football fans had to go on a 10-year break from playing a college football video game due to NIL concerns, but now that NIL is legal, EA has stepped up and delivered in back-to-back years.
Again, the game is only in the closed beta phase, and there are still plenty of tweaks to be made, but when the game finally drops on July 10, I think fans are going to be very pleased with the finished product.
Regardless of what other changes are made, these walkouts alone are enough to get excited about EA Sports College Football 26.
