Dylan Raiola Transfer Portal: Top 5 Destinations As Brother Dayton’s Decision Casts Doubt On QB’s Future

In one of the biggest shocks in high school football right now, three-star quarterback Dayton Raiola has chosen to decommit from Nebraska, casting doubt on whether brother Dylan Raiola might stay with the Cornhuskers. The Raiola family has long been associated with the school, as their father, former NFL player Dominic Raiola, is considered a Cornhuskers legend, and their uncle, Donovan, is the team’s offensive line coach.

Dayton’s decommitment might be a signal that Dylan, who is out for the season due to injury, might not be staying with his dad and uncle’s team for long. The question now is, if Dylan Raiola is indeed leaving, where will he go? Will he go wherever his brother commits or somewhere else? Of course, there is still a big chance he would stay where his family is best associated with.

5 Possible Landing Spots Should Dylan Raiola Enter Transfer Portal

    Charlotte 49ers

If he is going to where his brother, Dayton, is going, one possible landing spot would be Charlotte, as the 49ers came closest to Nebraska in recruiting the younger brother. With Dayton now decommitted and has now reopened his recruitment, Charlotte may now be the favorite to land the three-star. If this would happen, big brother Dylan might soon follow.

    Appalachian State Mountaineers

It’s another possible landing spot for Dayton, as the Mountaineers was third in his colleges of choice, before he committed to Nebraska. Now that he has decommitted, Dayton could go for App State, which may be looking for a good quarterback. Should Dylan enter the transfer portal and follow his brother, this could be where he goes.

    LSU Tigers

If Dylan Raiola transfers out of Nebraska and chooses not to go where his brother is, a good choice would be LSU, which will be in need of a quarterback once Garrett Nussmeier leaves after his senior season. LSU should be a logical choice for him, though the school’s athletic division is currently in turmoil.

    Arizona State Sun Devils

QB1 Sean Leavitt is reportedly planning to leave the school after this season, leaving a massive vacancy in the quarterback spot. Should Raiola decide to enter the transfer portal, he should be the top guy at Arizona State, though he is already the top guy at Nebraska right now, even though he is injured.

    Miami Hurricanes

Carson Beck has been having a very good season. Problem is, he is already a senior and is slated to leave soon. This means that one of the best football programs in the country will be without a QB1, and this is where Raiola could come in.
