The Tampa Bay Buccaneers had a famous visitor this weekend, as Deion Sanders attended their training camp to have a look at his son Shilo Sanders. Shilo, who played under his father at Colorado the last two seasons, went undrafted in the 2025 NFL Draft but managed to get into the Buccaneers roster as an undrafted free agent shortly after.

The visit was immortalized in an Instagram post by Deion Sanders, which shows him and his eldest son, Deion Sanders Jr., at the Tampa Bay facilities alongside Shilo.
“Had to visit Tampa to see” Wrote Deion Sanders in the caption
Shilo’s other brother, Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders, also commented on the post:
“mite mite” Wrote Shedeur
Hall of Famer Warren Sapp also weighed in:
“That’s illegal my G @deionsanders can not form a weapon!! What a Joke”
Other fans also reacted to the visit:
“Shilo the favorite son ?😂🫶🏽” Wrote someone

Others seemed interested in seeing Sanders Jr. creating social media content at the NFL level.

Tampa Bay’s Todd Bowles unfazed by Deion Sanders’ visit to the Buccaneers’ training camp
Speaking at an improvised press conference this Wednesday, Buccaneers coach Todd Bowles spoke about Deion Sanders’ visit to the training camp. For him, it was only natural that the Colorado coach would show up:
“Normal day for me, as far as I’m concerned. It’s a father coming to see his son, like all of us would be doing.”
Bucs coach Todd Bowles, who has two sons who play college football, had this to say about Deion Sanders watching today’s closed practice: “Normal day for me, as far as I’m concerned. At some point in the day, Deion Sanders was seen alongside Bowles speaking for a considerable time. All in a relaxed manner, as he saw his son fight for a spot in the team’s roster at the start of the year.
Deion Sanders had already signaled that he would make time to see his sons at their training camps, so he could be up for a visit to the Browns training facilities, where Shedeur Sanders is, like Shilo, fighting for a role in his team’s upcoming season.
It’s also interesting to see Deion Sanders out, as he had cut back on public appearances over the last months, while he fought an unknown health issue. His appearance at the Big 12 media days was his first public appearance since April.
