California Golden Bears Depth Chart

The California Golden Bears football team represents the University of California, Berkeley, and competes in the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS). They joined the Atlantic Coast Conference in 2024 after playing in the Pac-12 from 1959 to 2023. The Golden Bears play their home games at California Memorial Stadium, located in Berkeley, California. The stadium, which opened in 1923, offers stunning views of the San Francisco Bay and is dedicated to Californians who lost their lives in World War I.
Cal's football program has a rich history, highlighted by its 1920s "Wonder Teams" and the legendary "The Play" in the 1982 Big Game against Stanford, where the Golden Bears executed a last-second, multi-lateral kickoff return for a touchdown to win the game. The team's colors are blue and gold, and their mascot, Oski the Bear, has been a fixture at games since 1941. Cal fans are known for their "Oski Wow-Wow" chant.
