When Is the 2025 MLB Draft? Date, Draft Order, and More

No matter which team is the surprise or disappointment of baseball season, the MLB Draft is always one of the highlights of the calendar. 2025 will be no exception, and fans are already salivating over the show, even though it’s still three months away.

2025 MLB Draft Order and Date 

As usual, the 2025 MLB Draft will be held during the week of the All-Star Game. Specifically, the dates will be July 13 and 14 (Sunday and Monday) in Atlanta. The exact location of the event has not yet been officially announced.

If you notice that three teams are missing from the list, it’s not a mistake. It just so happens that the Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Yankees, and New York Mets all received a penalty of no less than their first 10 picks for exceeding the second threshold of the Competitive Balance Tax.
