    The Longest Winning Streaks in NCAA Baseball History

    1. Florida Atlantic Owls – 1999 (34)

    In 1999, the Florida Atlantic Owls had a 34-game winning run, demonstrating their power that season. The Owls’ streak began on Feb. 19 against Bethune-Cookman and was marked by a string of dominant triumphs, including a remarkable 17-2 win over Michigan State.

    Their solidarity and fortitude were evident, with only six of the 34 victories decided by one or two runs. The streak ended with a tight 2-1 loss to Jacksonville, but the Owls had already secured their place in history.

    2. Texas Longhorns – 1977 (34)

    The Texas Longhorns tied this record in 1977, beginning the season with a 34-game winning streak. This is the longest run to begin a season in Division I history.

    The Longhorns’ win streak was highlighted by clutch efforts, including a dramatic 3-2 victory over Minnesota. Their momentum was ended with a 4-3 loss to Rice in 13 innings of play, but their streak endures.

    3. Texas Longhorns – 1982 (33)

    Just five years after their 1977 success, the Longhorns went on another incredible run, this time winning 33 straight games. The 1982 Texas team dominated thanks to exceptional pitching depth and timely hitting.

    Despite falling short of matching their prior record, their steadiness established their place as one of the decade’s most terrifying teams.

    4. Utah Valley Wolverines – 2012 (32)

    Utah Valley shocked the college baseball world in 2012 with a 32-game winning streak. As a mid-major, this accomplishment drew national interest, demonstrating the program’s depth and determination.

    Their offense was especially strong, averaging over 10 runs per game throughout the streak, demonstrating that powerhouse performances aren’t limited to traditional Titans.

    5. Fresno State Bulldogs – 1988 (32)
