    College Baseball Top 25 Rankings: Who’s In And Who’s Out After Massive Week 2 Matchups?

    It was an action-packed College Baseball Week 2, complete with midweek battles, marquee weekend series, and several tournaments.

    Who’s In And Who’s Out After Massive College Baseball Week 2 Matchups?

    Ole Miss made its way into the Top 25 this week after an 8-0 start.

    Out

    Louisville finds itself outside after dropping a weekend series.

    UCLA retained its No. 1 rankings after a perfect week, winning all four games and improving its overall season record to 6-1. They started the week by defeating Tulane and sweeping No. 7 TCU over the weekend.

    LSU remains unbeaten and they went through the week, winning all five games. They started with a pair of victories against Kent State and Nicholls. They defeated Indiana, Notre Dame and UCF before wrapping up the week.

    Texas went 4-0 this week, improving to 7-0 on the season. They defeated Lamar on Tuesday, followed by a series sweep win over Michigan State.

    Mississippi State also won all five games this week, starting with back-to-back wins against Troy and Alcorn State, followed by taking the series win against Delaware.

    Georgia Tech completely blew out Georgia Southern in the 25-1 win. They swept Stony Brook in the four-game series to improve to 8-0 on the season.

    The top five-ranked teams remained the same.

    Arkansas jumped two spots in the rankings after defeating Tarleton on Monday and sweeping Xavier over the weekend.

    Auburn also climbed two spots. They started the week by losing against Cincinnati but won the remaining three games in the week against Kansas State, Florida State and Louisville.

    North Carolina jumped two spots as well after winning against Richmond and Longwood. Their three-game series against East Carolina ended in a split as their last game was 3-3 when it was cut short due to weather.

    Coastal Carolina is the only team in the top 10 rankings that dropped three spots in the rankings. They lost 4-3 against College of Charleston, followed by a 13-2 win over VCU on Friday, a 14-5 loss to Illinois on Sunday and finally a 6-3 win against VCU.

    Florida made their debut in the top ten in D1Baseball’s top 25 after winning two games against Stetson and securing a series victory against Kennesaw State.
