Kylie Beck is in Tallahassee to support her brother, Miami quarterback Carson Beck, as he faces off against Florida State. The encounter between the No. 3 Hurricanes and the No. 18 Seminoles could turn out to be pivotal for both teams’ seasons, and it’s the most highly rated encounter of Week 6 of college football.
Carson Beck came into the game as one of the leading candidates for the coveted Heisman Trophy, having odds of +900 according to BetMGM. The only player with better odds is Oregon’s Dante Moore, who has odds of +700.

Carson Beck’s Stats in 2025 So Far
Carson Beck initially declared for the 2025 NFL Draft but decided to backtrack and transferred to Miami, looking to revitalize his college career and improve his NFL Draft stock. Not unlike Miami’s 2024 starter and 2025 NFL Draft first overall pick, Cam Ward.
The bet seems to have paid so far, with Beck having thrown for 972 yards, with seven touchdowns and three interceptions so far this season. His QBR is not incredible, but it’s good enough at 82.3 (14th in the country). He’s having the best completion percentage of his career so far, with 73.2%.
On Saturday, he was highly productive with 241 passing yards, four touchdowns, and a completion percentage of 74% against the Florida State Seminoles. Especially impressive was a 44-yard touchdown pass to receiver Malachi Toney early in the second quarter of the game. While the Seminoles rallied in the fourth quarter, scoring 19 unanswered points, the Canes won the encounter 28-22. With this, they climbed to the No. 2 spot in the AP Poll.
