Carson Beck Draws JJ McCarthy Comparison From Fans Amid CFP Struggles vs Ole Miss

The Fiesta Bowl between Carson Beck’s Miami Hurricanes and the Ole Miss Rebels is underway in Glendale, Arizona. The highly anticipated matchup has brought several NFL stars and social media personalities in attendance.

Beck, being one of the best quarterbacks in the country today, has the football world’s attention on him. However, the Hurricanes’ star failed to make any real impact in the first quarter against the Rebels.

He botched an easy touchdown opportunity with a poor throw and had several instances where he lacked conviction and control over his game. This led to the internet trolling him for his struggles with funny memes and comparisons.

“Carson beck and JJ McCarthy are the same QB. Hand off specialist,” a fan wrote.

“’Alright Carson, let’s lock in. We win this game and we’re playing for a National Championship’ Carson Beck-“ a fan posted.

“If Carson beck gets drafted to the nfl, I’m declaring next year,” a fan wrote.

“in the first 20 minutes Carson Beck has thrown 2 receivers into the medical tent and overthrew two likely TDs by 20 yards, impressive stuff,” a fan wrote.

“Carson Beck has already decided not all of the WRs are going to live to see the end of this game,” a fan wrote.

“Carson beck missed a Easy touchdown,” a fan posted with a video of Beck’s terrible throw.

It didn’t take long for the Hurricanes to recover from the early setbacks as they took a 10-point lead in the second quarter. However, the team failed to maintain the lead while the Rebels levelled the score with under five minutes to go in the second quarter.
