The last two stops included meetings with the Tennessee Titans and the Detroit Lions, the end of an extensive pre-draft tour where he also visited the Arizona Cardinals, Cleveland Browns, and New York Giants.

Skattebo’s stock has been steadily rising due to an impressive showing on his pre-draft circuit and his composite skill set as a runner and pass catcher. Known for his physical running style and football IQ, he’s become a popular name among teams hoping to improve their backfield depth with a gritty, versatile back.
These were Skattebo’s last official in-person visits before the draft weekend. Two franchises could use bolstering the depth of their running game. Scoring systems with ground-and-pound backs, the Titans and the Lions, a team on the rise with a budding offense, are looking to benefit from incorporating Skattebo’s skill set into their systems.
Earlier in the process, Skattebo stopped by the Cardinals, Browns, and Giants. Each of those teams has rather specific needs at the running back position, and the combination of toughness and productivity through college makes him appealing to all three as a prospect.
Also represented here is the wide interest across the league since at least five teams spent face time with the running back before the draft.
