    7-Round Buffalo Bills Mock Draft

Buffalo currently has eight selections in this year’s draft. They possess an extra second-rounder and are missing their own third due to various trades made over the past year to shake up their receiver room.

The team has most of its core in place going forward, but it is set to have multiple veterans, including WR Amari Cooper and CB Rasul Douglas, hit free agency this year. They also have a lot of money tied up to some of their important vets going forward, such as OTs Dion Dawkins and Spencer Brown.

The Bills will look to continue using the draft to fill in their gaps and build up depth. With four picks in the top 110, they can add some impactful players while also looking for guys that can develop and take over starting roles at some point down the line.

With very limited cap space at the moment, Buffalo will need to ace this draft to keep their Super Bowl dreams going, so let’s take a look at this Bills-centric 2025 Mock Draft.

    30) Kenneth Grant, DT, Michigan

The Bills have not taken an interior defensive tackle since 2019, when they selected Ed Oliver. They take one here to help out their 2019 first-rounder and strengthen their defensive line. Oliver has seen a ton of double teams since breaking out and becoming one of the top players at his position.

Buffalo needs to add size upfront, and Kenneth Grant brings just that. The 340-pound DT would come in and anchor Buffalo’s run defense. His blend of power and athleticism causes him to pop off the tape. Grant has a high motor and shows rare agility and quickness at that size. He wins at the point of attack with his heavy hands and has the bend and quickness to fly into the backfield.

Grant can pressure the QB from wherever he is aligned and excels at filling gaps in the run game. He would be a gamechanger in Buffalo’s defense and would fill a major position of need.

    56) Dorian Strong, CB, Virginia Tech

Buffalo selects a true man coverage boundary corner here. With Douglas set to hit free agency and the Kaiir Elam experiment seemingly coming to an end, Buffalo could use a true lockdown guy on the boundary. Strong fits the mold of what teams look for in man coverage corners. He has fluid hips, strong closing speed, and impressive length.

Strong will be able to mirror other team’s receivers and has even shown strong instincts in zone coverage. He is a smart player and often showed the ability to read QB’s eyes and be able to break on balls in front of him.

He will come into the league as a guy who can start right away and can develop into a star. Adding a boundary corner like Strong could take Buffalo’s defense to the next level.

    62) Matthew Golden, WR, Texas

Selecting Matthew Golden here would be great value for Buffalo. He flashes a ton of potential on tape and showed up in big games for Texas. Golden is an explosive playmaker and a polished route runner for someone his age. He possesses very strong body control which allows him to be a threat at any level of the field.

This, combined with his ability to separate, made him a weapon down the field. His route-running ability and quickness help him win underneath. He generates a ton of yards after the catch and does well using blocks to explode into open space. Golden would fit in very well in Buffalo and would form a strong duo with Josh Allen from Day 1.

    108) Earnest Greene III, OT, Georgia

Buffalo has a strong offensive line, headlined by their tackles. Brown and Dawkins have become one of the better tackle duos in the NFL. While both guys are at their peaks, they also carry expensive cap hits going forward.

If there comes a time for Buffalo to get cheaper in this position, it would be smart to have someone ready to take over. Earnest Greene III is a high-ceiling prospect.

His incredible athleticism and length make him an intriguing prospect. Where Greene III lacks is in technique. This will be a work in progress, but bringing in the freak athlete to sit and develop for a little bit could reap benefits.

    131) Malachi Moore, DB, Alabama

Malachi Moore brings in a versatile skill set. He could see playing time and various positions in the secondary at the next level. Moore is a high IQ player with good instincts.

Moore could start as a backup and fill in anywhere in the secondary when needed. He also has the potential to grow into a high-level starter at some point. Moore would improve the Bills secondary and be a fun piece to develop.

    171) Elijah Roberts, DT, SMU

Elijah Roberts is another high-ceiling prospect. He likely wouldn’t have a huge impact right away but has shown a high motor and can make an impact on special teams.

Roberts is a physical player who has a knack for getting involved in the run game. He is extremely raw and was inconsistent at SMU, but he has a high effort level and flashed some high potential. Roberts could develop into a key piece and would provide depth for the defensive line.

    175) Jacob Gideon, OL, Western Michigan

Jacb Gideon has starting experience at every position on the interior of the offensive line. He is a high-floor prospect and can be a top backup right away.

Gideon would provide cheap depth and be reliable enough to step in at multiple spots when needed. He would improve the Bills’ offensive line group and could have an impact as early as Year 1.

    179) Ja’Corey Brooks, WR, Louisville

Ja’Corey Brooks had an up-and-down college career. He ended it strong with Louisville and showed flashes of brilliance with his game-breaking speed and big-play ability.

What makes Brooks special is his prowess on special teams. He stood out in this role and will impact the game in whatever way he can. Brooks would be a good piece for the Bills as they look to beef up their receiver room with talent, and he will provide an impact wherever he can.

    181) Jackson Hawes, TE, Georgia Tech

Jackson Hawkes is mainly a blocking tight end and would complement Dalton Kincaid well. With Dawson Knox’s high cap hit, Buffalo could look to move on form the veteran tight end.

Hawes will earn snaps by opening up gaps in the run game, and, like Knox, he can be a sneaky weapon in short route opportunities.

    208) Riley Leonard, QB, Notre Dame

Buffalo has two QBs under contract in 2025. Riley Leonard could be added to the room and develop into the team’s backup. Leonard is far from polished, but he opened some eyes in his final season at Notre Dame. His athleticism and pile-moving strength on the ground showed a resemblance to Josh Allen.

With Allen being as important as he is, taking some mileage off his legs could be a wise decision. Leonard could serve as an option in short-yardage spots, and his growth at the college level could make him an interesting prospect. Leonard could sit and learn and become a strong, capable backup for the Bills.
