The No. 10 seed Arkansas Razorbacks are preparing for their NCAA Tournament matchup on Thursday against No. 3 seed Texas Tech, and this is partially due to the great play of forward Adou Thiero all season long.
Despite Thiero’s uncertainty about the Sweet 16 matchup with the Red Raiders, he has a bright future ahead of him. Where could he be drafted in the upcoming NBA Draft?

Where Could Adou Thiero Land in the NBA?
After averaging 15.6 points per game and six rebounds per game for head coach John Calipari and the Razorbacks, the 6’8″ forward has a chance to flourish in the NBA.
Chicago Bulls
The Chicago Bulls, who hold the 11th pick, have been looking to improve their defense for years since they parted ways with head coach Tom Thibodeau and great defensive players such as Joakim Noah and Jimmy Butler.
Thiero could be the perfect defensive forward that the franchise is looking for, especially with his scoring abilities.
Dallas Mavericks
This season for the Dallas Mavericks could not have gone worse.
The front office traded away arguably the best player in franchise history, Luka Doncic, and both Kyrie Irving and Anthony Davis have struggled to stay healthy.
If they are looking to flip the script for 2025-2026, a talented wing and post-up player like Thiero could be a great addition for the future with the 12th overall pick.
San Antonio Spurs
The Spurs are steadily building toward contention, even if both Victor Wembanyama and De’Aaron Fox are out for the season due to injury.
Adding a versatile scorer and defender like Thiero, who has already played for an NBA-style coach in Calipari, could be a genius move from the San Antonio brass. The Spurs will be picking at No. 16.
Miami Heat
With Jimmy Butler now gone, the Heat are going to need to cash in on their draft picks.
What made Butler so great in Miami was his ability to improve his offensive game and flourish on the defensive end. Thiero is a little taller but had a similar path as he developed into a more complete player. Pat Riley would be wise to draft Thiero at Pick No. 20 if he gets the opportunity.
Washington Wizards
At this point, the Wizards can use all the help they can get. They are in last place in the Eastern Conference with a record of 16-56. Thiero could immediately become one of the team’s most important pieces.

While Washington holds the No. 2 overall pick, they would find better value in drafting a talented frontcourt player in Thiero in the back half of the first round.
