Rumors are already swirling around Maryland head coach Kevin Willard. While the head man for the Terrapins prepares for his first career Sweet 16 appearance this week, reports have said both Villanova and the Terrapins have offered him top-tier money.
Willard played point guard for Western Kentucky and Pittsburgh in college before coaching as an assistant for the Boston Celtics and Louisville Cardinals, both of which were under Rick Pitino. Willard made his way up the ranks, heading Iona and Seton Hall before taking the Maryland position. But who is he married to? Let’s take a deeper look at his family.

A Deep Dive Into Kevin Willard’s Personal Life and Partner
Kevin Willard is married to Julie Wagner, with whom he has two sons, Colin and Chase. Wagner, who is also in the sports world, made her mark by becoming the first women’s golf coach at Indiana Wesleyan University in its inaugural 2012 season.
“It’s very exciting to be the first women’s golf coach at Indiana Wesleyan,” Wagner said when she took the position back in 2012. “It’s a little humbling, and I am really looking forward to getting the startup team going.”
Wagner came into the position after being a Golf Teaching Professional at Wildcat Creek Golf Course in Kokomo, Indiana, where she worked since April 2011 and earned a United States Golf Teachers Federation license.
Prior to coaching golf, Wagner worked at Delphi Electronics & General Motors for 13 years and won two Howard County Championships and multiple amateur championships.
