Charleston forward Ante Brzovic is entering the portal, according to On3’s Joe Tipton. The 6’10” senior averaged 8.4 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game this season and will need to be granted another year of eligibility by the NCAA in order to play this season after playing his freshman year in Division II.
Tipton said the Croatian will also undergo the NBA Draft process. Here are five potential landing spots for the Cougar forward.

Top Five Transfer Portal Landing Spots For Charleston Forward Ante Brzovic
Louisville
Brzovic’s obvious choice would be to head to Louisville. The Cardinals, who hired head coach Pat Kelsey from Charleston last year, would have immediate insight into Brzovic, who started 30 games for Kelsey in their 2023-24 Coastal Athletic Association championship campaign.

And while Kasean Pryor has floated the possibility of returning to the Cardinals next season, Brzovic would likely find playing time on a guard-centric Louisville roster with the departures of sixth-year Noah Waterman and senior Aboubacar Traore.
Kentucky
Louisville’s down-the-road rival could take their swing at Brzovic as another team with a lack of wing depth. Fifth-year Andrew Carr and senior Ansley Almonor are heading out the door in Lexington, and head coach Mark Pope will be looking for immediate replacements with nearly unlimited NIL funds.
Xavier
Despite current Cougar head coach Chris Mack shutting down rumors he’s headed to Xavier, nothing is certain until someone signs the dotted line for the Musketeers. If Mack does indeed head to Cincinnati, expect Brzovic to follow.
Clemson
Brad Brownell’s team, which has been historically active in the transfer portal, could be looking for a new wing following the transfer announcements of junior Chauncey Wiggins and sophomore Asa Thomas. With senior Ian Schieffelin and fifth-year Myles Foster also out of the mix, the Tigers are a likely landing spot for Brzovic.

USC
After a disappointing season, the Trojans and head coach Eric Musselman will be looking to refuel. USC could see the departure of two wings, in senior Saint Thomas and sixth-year Josh Cohen, and the futures of Terrance Williams II and Rashaun Agee are uncertain.
