Addy Brown is one of the nation’s best players but simply doesn’t get enough recognition.
However, perhaps her latest statistical mark is one that can impress basketball fans all over the place.

Addy Brown Is an Anomaly
As the Iowa State women’s basketball team account wrote on social media recently, Brown is the only player in the Power Four to be averaging 15.0 points per game, 7.5 rebounds per game, and 5.0 assists per game this season.
She is also the only Big 12 player to rank in the top 15 of the conference in all three of the statistical categories.

Brown is one of the rare players in the sport who can do it all for her team.
The Kansas native has averaged at least 31.7 minutes played per game each of the past two seasons.
She has shot over 47.0% from the field each of the past few seasons with her averaging 5.0 assists per game in her career.
How Dangerous Are the Cyclones in 2025?
With Brown playing the way that she is playing, the Cyclones are very tough to stop.
Head coach Bill Fennelly’s team should make the NCAA Tournament with an overall record of 22-11 (12-6 in conference play). But how deep can they go when they are playing at their best?
Well, they are very formidable because they have a star player who can take over at any point in Brown. Plus, they are one of seven teams in their conference that finished with at least 12 wins in conference.
Against their biggest rivals, they generally performed very well. But now, their backs are officially against the wall, and they will have no room for error moving forward.

Judging by their record, they will likely have a lower seed when the entire field is announced, which means their path to a deep tournament run could be tough to make happen in the end.
But, if the games are close and the Cyclones have the last shot, opposing teams could be in trouble because of who may be the one tasked with the final shot. That person is none other than Addy Brown, and the rest of the country better know her name now.
