Auburn has been the top-ranked team in the nation for multiple weeks and is led by fifth-year senior Johni Broome, who is averaging 18.1 points, 10.7 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game this season.

The CSN line differs heavily from Vegas, sporting the Tigers as the 4.5-point favorite. This comes off the back of Auburn’s latest loss to Florida and largely assumes that the team that played Vanderbilt is more like the team that Auburn is at the moment.

These are two high-scoring teams. Alabama averages 90.5 points per game—the best in the country—while Auburn averages 84.8 points per game, which is 8th in the nation.
Last season, the Crimson Tide were carried by Mark Sears, but this season Alabama has a strong supporting cast with four other players averaging double-digit points.
Auburn is one of the most efficient offenses, shooting 48.6 percent from the field and 37.2 percent from beyond the arc. The Tigers pair that offensive success with a low turnover rate, giving up the ball just 8.9 times per game.
Broome could cause issues for Alabama in the paint, and if the Crimson Tide double teams the star center, he has shown the ability to punish teams by finding shooters open outside the perimeter.
This will be a back-and-forth affair with plenty of points on the scoreboard, and it could come down to who has the ball last.
