Week 5’s NFL Sunday slate will conclude with an AFC East battle as the 4-0 Buffalo Bills play host to the 2-2 New England Patriots at 8:20 p.m. tonight.
Tonight’s game is pivotal for many reasons – will Josh Allen and the Bills continue its dominance in the division, or will the Patriots pick up a much-needed divisional win that can see them contend for the division?
Many key players will be featured in tonight’s game. Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen won MVP last season and running back James Cook was named the AFC Offensive Player of the Month for September.
For the Patriots, Drake Maye is continuing to improve in his second season as he’s starting to settle in with his younger offense.

As Sunday night’s game is almost here, let’s take a look at who to start/sit in fantasy football for players in Sunday night’s game:

Week 4 SNF Bills vs Patriots Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em Picks
Start:
Josh Allen
Josh Allen is a start almost every week in fantasy football. This season, he has 964 passing yards and seven passing touchdowns through four games. He also has three rushing touchdowns and 159 yards on the ground.
Allen had a big game in Week 1’s thriller against the Baltimore Ravens, but hasn’t exploded for a big game since. He’s due for a breakout game and tonight in primetime presents an opportunity as he faces a familiar foe.
James Cook
James Cook is having one of the best seasons for a running back this season. He enters Week 5 with the second-most rushing yards with 401, and has topped 100 yards from scrimmage in all four games. He’ll have a tough challenge against New England’s front seven, as they boast one of the best run defenses in the NFL.
Cook has been a touchdown machine, scoring 21 since the 2024 season, the most of any player in the NFL.
Sit:
Keon Coleman
Buffalo Bills wide receiver Keon Coleman looked like he was in for a sophomore breakout season following his Week 1 performance against the Buffalo Bills, recording eight catches for 112 yards and a touchdown. Since then, Coleman has had three catches in each of the last three games and hasn’t had over 45 yards in the last three games.
Josh Allen likes to spread the ball out, but Coleman hasn’t done anything recently to show that he’s worth starting.
Rhamondre Stevenson
New England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson hasn’t got it going this season. Even with the team drafting rookie running back TreVeyon Henderson, Stevenson is still the No. 1 back, but only has rushed for 125 and no touchdowns in four games.
Henderson could eventually emerge as the RB1, as he has 26 carries, which is just five less than Stevenson. Look for the Patriots to split the backfield tonight with Stevenson and Henderson as they face the No. 31 ranked rush defense.
Must starts:
Josh Allen
James Cook
Dalton Kincaid
Drake Maye
Must Sits:
Keon Coleman
Rhamondre Stevenson
Stefon Diggs
