Georgia Bulldogs cornerback Ellis Robinson IV is receiving a lot of criticism all over social media for how he fared during his team’s most recent game. On Saturday, Sept. 27, coach Kirby Smart‘s Bulldogs were taking on coach Kalen DeBoer’s Alabama Crimson Tide for their respective week four matchups of the 2025 NFL season in the former’s home pitch, the Sanford Stadium in Athens, Georgia.
At one point in the game, as captured by @GrantSpeaks1 on X/Twitter, Robinson was seen to not be able to halt Crimson Tide wide receiver Germie Bernard in a breakaway play as Bernard was easily able to score a touchdown. The play resulted in Alabama generating an early 7-0 lead in the first quarter, as Robinson and the rest of the Bulldogs tried their best to get it back in the next periods.

College fans and spectators then call out Robinson for his lackluster performance on the defensive end by proclaiming him as different negative adjectives.
“Ellis Robinson absolute liability in the secondary,” one user claimed.
“I think it might be time to call Ellis Robinson IV a bust,” another user said.
“I might have hyped Ellis Robinson a little too soon,” another fan shared.
“Can Ellis Robinson do anything? #dawgs,” a user pleaded.
Other users all over X/Twitter then offered their takes on what they’d want to see out of Robinson in the game against the Alabama Crimson Tide.
“I want Ellis Robinson benched bro smh,” one fan wrote.
“Ellis Robinson need to go back to the Oklahoma drill,” another fan posted.
“Ellis Robinson gotta wake up, man,” a fan pointed out.
Robinson is currently in his second year of collegiate football, having spent his freshman campaign in 2024 also with the Bulldogs. He was the second-highest-ranked five-star recruit in the whole class of 2024 when he was playing high school football at IMG Academy, per 247Sports. In his first run at Georgia, the Bradenton, Florida native helped the Bulldogs to an overall record of 11-2.
