Aaron Rodgers is now with the Pittsburgh Steelers, having changed teams through free agency. He’s currently hard at work, integrating with his new team, looking to leave his unsuccessful time with the New York Jets behind him.
However, it seems he’s having a hard time adjusting to the newer generations. In a funny interaction with one of his new wide receivers, Rodgers seemed to have a hard time understanding DK Metcalf’s hobbies. At a press conference this week, Metcalf told reporters that at one point, Rodgers came to his room while he was playing CFB 26 and asked if he was gaming. When the 27-year-old said ‘Yes,’ the signal-caller walked away.
Fans were quick to react to the funny incident.
“He wanted you to be studying so he can get 1 more Bowl before he retire. Rodgers want 1 more then he is retiring,” said someone who disagreed with Metcalf’s hobbies.
“He’s 99 years old all he might know how to play is Pac Man if that,” joked someone else.
“Aarons too old to be gamin hahaha,” commented another person.
“Rodgers is all business. Dude is going to be [fire emoji] this season,” claimed a fan.
“Rodgers is the LeBron of nfl 😂😂 don’t wanna retire,” another fan wrote.
Aaron Rodgers opens up about his personal life
During the Steelers’ training camp on Saturday, Aaron Rodgers spoke with the NFL Network and opened up about his love life. Rodgers started dating a woman by the name of Brittani in December 2024.
In June 2025, he revealed that they were married. Not much is known about her, but this week, the quarterback shared previously unknown details about their relationship.
“When you meet the right one, and you’re with the right one, your whole world changes in a second,” Rodgers said of Brittani, per the Daily Mail. “And to have that person that unconditionally loves you behind the scenes, there’s no better feeling in the world, and I have the most incredible wife.”
“I just really love her, and I’m so thankful to have her by my side at the end,” the NFL star added. “When you have that stability and that rock behind you at the house, you feel like you can do anything.”
If anything, it’s an interesting glimpse into the personal life of an otherwise very private man.
