As the highly anticipated second round came and went without his name being called, Sanders was blindsided by a cruel joke that left fans stunned and outraged.

Streaming from his father Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders’ home in Texas, Shedeur was surrounded by friends and family, trying to stay hopeful. But things took a dark turn when he received a call from an unknown number. The person on the other line reportedly said, “You gotta wait a little longer,” before hanging up, leaving everyone in the room confused and visibly upset.

Shedeur, clearly rattled, could be heard asking how someone even got his private number. The prank added insult to injury, kicking a young athlete while he was down during one of the most stressful moments of his career.
Online reactions came fast and furious.
