Ole Miss will enter the 2024 season with four players in the CFN Top 100, two of which sit inside the top 30 of players in college football.

College Football Network has again released its highly anticipated top 100 college football players for 2024. Ole Miss will enter 2024 with four players on the list: two offensive skill players and two on their defensive front. Which players from Lane Kiffin’s squad made the list? Let’s take a look!

Which Ole Miss Players Were Included in the CFN Top 100 College Football Players?

For the first time in Ole Miss’ 129 college football seasons, the Rebels notched 11 wins in 2023, capping off the campaign with a thrilling 38-25 victory over No. 10 Penn State in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl. Kiffin and the Rebels have their sights set on an SEC title and College Football Playoff run as they look to build on that success.

Let’s look at which Ole Miss players CFN College Football Analyst James Fragoza ranked in the top 100 and what he had to say about the two players ranked inside the top 30.

    Princely Umanmielen, EDGE (18th)

Princely Umanmielen has taken shots at Florida since transferring to Ole Miss, complaining about his lack of development with the program. His film last season also showed several low-effort plays, so a change of scenery was best for both sides.

    Walter Nolen, DT (24th)

Texas A&M had Walter Nolen anywhere from 1 to 7-tech, but he’s at his best penetrating through the B gap. Through two seasons, he has largely won on talent alone, but with improved technique and hand usage, he could take his game to new heights at Ole Miss.
