Knox Kiffin, the son of Ole Miss Rebels’ head coach Lane Kiffin, will be playing with the Oxford High football team from next month, a report in 247 Sports suggests. The 6-foot-tall quarterback from Palos Verdes Peninsula, CA, spent his freshman year at Palos Verdes High School in his hometown.

As per the report by the aforementioned source, Knox Kiffin will be joining the high school program on June 2. The high school concluded the 2024 season with a 6-5 record.
Additionally, the On3 Composite Rankings also ranked them the No. 34 overall team in Mississippi. As per reports, the youngster had offers from programs like FIU, Arkansas State, Western Kentucky, and Georgia State before he provided his commitment to play for Oxford High School. He was also offered to play for Sacramento State and Murray State.

Knox is a class of 2028 quarterback prospect. Meanwhile, the 16-year-old took over his social media account to react to the news. On his official X account, he wrote, “LFG. The band is all back together. Pops is smiling. @OleMissFB,” reacting to the news of him joining the Oxford squad.
Knox is one of the three children of his father. Lane’s other kids are Landry, who is 20 years old, and Presley, who is 18 years old. While Landry is already a student at Ole Miss, Presley will be playing for the USC volleyball team and will be relocating to Los Angeles.
Knox will be moving to Mississippi from Southern California with his older sister Layla, as per the reports.
Meanwhile, for Ole Miss, Lane’s side lost some players to the NFL teams. One of their players, Jaxson Dart, joined the New York Giants along with some other key stars. It is to be seen how the program enters the upcoming season as they face Georgia State in Oxford in the opener on Aug. 30.
