Xavier Chaplin joins Auburn as the highest-valued non-QB transfer. From a three-star recruit to a top OT, his rise has been impressive.

From a three-star recruit at the start of his NCAA journey to a four-star transfer and the third-ranked offensive tackle, Chaplin’s rise has been nothing short of impressive. His success is a result of relentless effort, both on the field and in building his brand as a top-tier prospect.

How Much Is Xavier Chaplin’s NIL Worth?

Chaplin started every game for Virginia Tech in the previous season and gave up only two sacks, ten quarterback hurries, and zero quarterback hits in a total of 300 opportunities. Chaplin also struggled with a bone bruise and shoulder injury throughout the season; however, they continued to play through them.

Well, this has made an impact for him, even though he has only 3.4k followers across all the platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X, etc.). It’s only a matter of time before there’s a blatant spike in those metrics. Moreover, he also landed an NIL deal with Special Olympics Virginia recently, due to which he attended a charity event back in April 2024.

Besides this, as per On3, his current NIL valuation stands at a whopping $1.8 million.

    Xavier Chaplin’s Net Worth

Chaplin was a force to be reckoned with in high school, racking up 55 tackles in 2021, including five sacks and 12 tackles for loss. His dominance on the field caught the attention of top programs, earning him offers from powerhouse schools like Vanderbilt, Georgia State, Louisville, and Florida before he ultimately committed to Virginia Tech as part of the 2022 recruiting class.

In 2020, Chaplin earned first-team All-Lowco honors as a dominant defensive lineman during his junior year of high school. Fast-forward to today, with two years of NCAA eligibility left, and he has chosen to take his talents to Auburn. Now, he is set to make an impact for the Tigers in the 2025 season.

“It’s the people; I feel like I’m at home here,” Chaplin said. “I don’t have to not be myself. I can be Xavier.”

His decision came right after an official visit to Plains, and he talked about how much he loved the environment at the school.

“I had a great time,” he said following the visit. “I really liked the people here and the environment. I feel like it is very important because they showed me that they need me, how they can take care of me, and how they can develop me into the player I want to be. (Coach Jake Thornton) was just telling me that I can be a great player.”

Chaplin’s net worth is not known publicly, but considering his NIL valuation, it could be as close to $1.8 million as of now.
