2027 WR Monshun Sales on Baton Rouge Visit — ‘LSU Is Like WRU’
Sales, who was recruited by LSU’s wide receiver coaches Cortez Hankton and Brandon Schnapp, said he felt at home on his visit to the Tigers.
“I loved the way the coaching staff rolled out the red carpet and treated me as a top priority,” Sales said. “LSU is like WRU so the opportunity to be a part of that tradition is exciting.”
The Tigers have been on a roll producing wide receivers since 2014, when they sent Odell Beckham Jr., Jarvis Landry to the NFL Draft. D.J. Chark and Russell Gage were picked in 2018, with Justin Jefferson following as a first-round pick in 2020.
Ja’Marr Chase and Terrace Marshall Jr. were picked in the first two rounds of the 2021 draft, and Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr. were taken in the first two rounds of last year’s draft.
Kyren Lacy was expected to be selected in this year’s draft, following an 866-yard and nine-touchdown 2024 campaign, before he died on April 12.
