Who Is Harmoni Turner’s Sister, Lyric Turner?

Lyric Turner grew up alongside Harmoni in Mansfield, Texas, raised primarily by their father, Rocky, after their parents’ separation when Harmoni was 2.

Their early years weren’t easy. Harmoni recalls visits with their biological mother as “loud and chaotic,” marked by the psychological and emotional strain that both sisters endured. These hardships built a deep bond between the sisters.

Harmoni made a name for herself at Mansfield Legacy High School, captaining the team and shattering 14 school records. In 2019, she committed to Harvard.

Her freshman season with the Crimson was highly impressive, earning her Ivy League Freshman of the Year honors. While Harmoni stole a lot of spotlight through her sports career, not much is known about Lyric.

By her senior year, Harmoni was named Ivy League Player of the Year and led Harvard to its first-ever conference championship. Off the court, she pursued African American and African studies alongside Sociology.

In 2025, Harmoni’s dominance was undeniable. She claimed the Becky Hammon Mid-Major Player of the Year Award, cementing her as a force in college basketball.
