Kitts was born on Aug. 5, 2004, to Jason and Krystle Kitts. Originally from Puyallup, Washington, the family relocated to Oviedo, Florida, when she was nine, a move that played a crucial role in her basketball journey. Jason and Krystle Kitts are American nationals.
Her father, Jason, founded CHB Global Corp., a nonprofit wellness and community organization in Oviedo. He was also involved in similar initiatives in Washington. Chloe’s passion for basketball began at age 5 when Jason introduced her to the sport.
“When I was younger, my dad handed me a basketball, and from what I could remember, it’s all I’ve ever known since,” Chloe recalled.
During her recruitment, Jason emphasized their approach.
“We are just enjoying the process and building strong relationships with each school and want the best fit for her,” Jason said.
Chloe Kitts: From High School Standout to Collegiate Star
Chloe Kitts began her basketball journey in Puyallup, Washington, before moving to Oviedo, Florida, in third grade. She played her freshman season at The Master’s Academy, helping lead the team to the Class 3A state championship game.
When she moved to DME Academy in Daytona Beach during her sophomore year, she maintained 18.7 points alongside 8.2 rebounds in every game. The team reached its first time competing at GEICO Nationals through her exceptional gameplay.
Kitts decided to skip her senior year at school to start attending college rather than transferring to Faith Christian Academy.
