Ojenuwa started the year strong this season at Arkansas, scoring 20 points and grabbing 10 rebounds against Arkansas State. During Non-Conference play, she averaged nine points and eight rebounds a game, shooting 51% from the floor, but as the calendar changed and conference play began, she began to struggle.

The sophomore forward averaged about five points and five rebounds per game during conference play, including a game in which she scored 0 points and committed five fouls in 15 minutes against South Carolina. With Arkansas in the SEC, Ojenuwa was playing against some of the top teams in the country.

With her time at Arkansas ending, Ojenuwa could take a few different paths, and it all comes down to her basketball aspirations.

If the Nigerian forward wants to play heavy minutes and be an impact player, she could play at a school like Arkansas State. Arkansas State is a team she played well against last year, and the main reason was their lack of size.

The Red Wolves only have one player over 6’1 on the team, and she was a senior this year. Going to a team like that would allow her to stay in the state of Arkansas, enable her to get significant playing time, and make her an impactful piece for their team next season.

Last year, during her transfer to Arkansas, she officially visited Georgia and canceled her visit to South Florida. These three teams could be a possibility for the forward.

South Florida currently has only one born American on the roster. The program has shown its ability to welcome players from different cultures, and the Nigerian forward could find comfort here.

Georiga is a younger team in the SEC that Ojenuwa is familiar with. Along with her visit, she played against Georiga twice last season, and in those two games, she averaged about ten points and four rebounds a game. The Bulldogs are a young team that would benefit from her size and rebounding ability.

Ojenuwa could also transfer to a top school, learning and growing her game behind some ted players and coaches. Programs like Tennessee or Alabama could be good spots for the forward.

Both teams made the NCAA tournament this year and were both five seeds. Alabama lost a close double overtime thriller to Maryland, and Tennessee is headed to the Sweet 16 to face off against Texas.

Alabama has six seniors this year, and Tennessee has eight. Both teams will need to fill some roster spots, and this could be an opportunity for Ojenuwa to play with great programs and learn from talented players.
