Over the last year, while they did not know each other personally, Travis Hunter’s wife, Leanna Lenee, now Leanna Hunter, has formed a friendship with WNBA star Angel Reese. The two have commented on one another’s posts, with Reese also defending Leanna from critics on social media.
As Reese partnered up with fast fashion brand Juicy Couture, the wife of Travis Hunter showed her love to her friend, calling Reese a literal angel.

Angel Reese and Leanna Hunter often exchange supportive and positive online comments with one another, with their online friendship stemming from the Chicago Sky star defending her from online harassment back in 2024. At that time, Leanna received much online hate after Travis Hunter won the Heisman trophy, with Reese, who did not know her at that time, calling out her critics, telling them to leave her alone.

Reese even got into an argument with some netizens, personally replying to some tweets of those attacking her for defending Leanna Hunter. However, Reese, known for her fiery attitude, did not back down and doubled down on defending Leanna.
This soon sparked an online friendship that has gone on to this day. Reese has even sent Leanna some products from her fashion line, something she has been very grateful for.
NBA Star Remains Coy On Whether He Is Dating Angel Reese Or Not
While Leanna is already happily married to Travis Hunter, there are currently rumors regarding her love life, as she is rumored to be dating Orlando Magic Center, Wendell Carter Jr.
The Magic big man appeared on an interview with FanDuel TV. There, Carter was asked about the rumors surrounding him and Angel Reese. However, he remained coy and neither confirmed nor denied whether they are truly dating or not.
“That’s the homie, for sure. We’re locked in,“ he said. ”Y’all are going to find out when y’all need to find out. We’ll just leave it at that. That’s my girl, though. We’re locked in, for sure.”
While the rumors surrounding their relationship are still floating around, Reese is busy teaming up with fashion brands and making a name for herself in the WNBA off-season.
