Sarah Strong’s Mother Expresses Pride As UConn Star Joins Azzi Fudd, Audi Crooks, Hannah Hidalgo And More for Best College Player List

    Women’s college basketball is filled with some of the most talented players. The 2026 class includes stars from different teams. There is an amazing diversity among the best players of college basketball this year.

    Some of the biggest stars include Azzi Fudd from UConn, Sarah Strong another Husky, Iowa State’s Audi Crooks, Notre Dame’s Hannah Hidalgo, TCU’s Olivia Miles, LSU’s Flau’jae Johnson, Texas’ Madison Booker, and South Carolina’s Joyce Edwards.

    The stats from each of these players have been really impressive this season –

    1. Audi Crooks – 28.9 points, 5.9 rebounds, 71 FG%
    2. Hannah Hidalgo – 25 points, 6.4 rebounds, 5 assists, 48 FG%
    3. Joyce Edwards – 22 points, 6 rebounds, 62 FG%
    4. Olivia Miles – 18.9 points, 7.3 rebounds, 7.6 assists, 53 FG%
    5. Madison Booker – 18.7 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 52.3 FG%
    6. Azzi Fudd – 18.5 points, 3 assists, 49 FG%, 50 3FG%, 100 FT%
    7. Sarah Strong – 18.3 points, 8.4 rebounds, 4.6 assists, 58.9 FG%
    8. Flau’jae Johnson – 15.5 points, 54 FG%, 52 3FG%

    Each of these stars is leading their teams to a great season. Azzi Fudd and Sarah Strong are a part of unbeaten UConn. Geno Auriemma’s team looks strong. In fact, many believe they can become the first women’s college team to win back-to-back national championships. Audi Crooks is leading unbeaten Iowa State with a 13-0 record.

    Flau’jae Johnson’s LSU also have a 13-0 record right now. Olivia Miles is the face of the unbeaten TCU side. Hannah Hidalgo is a part of a brilliant Notre Dame team with a 9-2 record. Texas have Madison Booker leading them to an unbeaten 14-0 season so far. Joyce Edwards’ South Carolina has lost 1 game so far. Dawn Staley’s team have been on an impressive run apart from one small hiccup.

    Fans Choose From Women’s College Basketball’s Best Stars

    Fans were divided to choose from some of the most talent players this season.

    “Audi is having one of the most dominant seasons in history lol obviously her,” one fan made the pick.

    “Sarah, Fudd and Booker y’all can argue about the rest. Definitely can’t forget about Liv McGill,” one fan said.

    “I absolutely LOVE Azzi Fudd, but Sarah Strong gets better every time I see her…and she was already amazing as a freshman last season,” another fan commented.

    “These girls PLAYING!” One fan exclaimed.

    “Catch me in March to decide. Sarah my favorite, Audi is different, Flau’jae shooting above 50 from downtown is crazy, Hannah is a beast, Aszi the best 2 way player all of em would beat me 1 v 1,” one fan explained.

    “Hell of a group. WCBB is in great hands,” another fan claimed.
