Pittsburgh Transfer Marley Washenitz Draws Strong Interest From 14 Programs

Pittsburgh’s junior guard entered the transfer portal and expressed interest in multiple programs, including Arizona, Tennessee, and Wisconsin.

Marley Washenitz announced on Twitter that she’s entering the transfer portal after spending three seasons with Pittsburgh. Washenitz landed in Pittsburgh, joining head coach Lance White in the Class of 2022 after West Virginia failed to honor her commitment.

Washenitz is the second player to announce her decision to enter the transfer portal from Pittsburgh, along with Aislin Malcolm, who has committed to Robert Morris. She has one year of eligibility remaining, and many teams are already swirling.
