The viral clip offers more than just entertainment; it reflects the passion and detailed instruction Love brings to each session.
“Change our hip, change direction. Finish right over top. Kind of like the parkour,” she instructs during a drill.
Her encouraging words and relentless drive are evident: “You’re good. You’ve been doing so good,” she tells a player catching her breath. Later, she adds with a smile, “It’s so easy to give direction when you don’t have to run.”
With 13 years of coaching experience, Love arrived at Oklahoma in May 2025, bringing a resume marked by success and reputation as one of the nation’s elite recruiters and player developers.
As recruiting coordinator under head coach Kristy Curry, Love was instrumental in securing four top-100 signees and mentored WBCA All-Americans Sarah Ashlee Barker and Aaliyah Nye.
She also signed three McDonald’s All-Americans and was key in bringing Izzy Higginbottom through the portal, who would go on to lead the SEC in scoring in 2024.

Head coach Jennie Baranczyk praised Love’s ability to uplift a program and build meaningful connections. That same sentiment is echoed in Love’s own words:
“I’m incredibly honored and excited to join the Oklahoma women’s basketball program. This is a special opportunity to be part of a tradition-rich program with high standards, strong leadership and a clear vision for success.”
A former standout player herself, Love’s transition to Oklahoma is already sparking change. In just weeks, she has amplified the Sooners’ culture with a mix of elite coaching, authenticity and unmatched energy.
