Paige Bueckers has been making quite a name for herself on and off the court at the University of Connecticut. In December, Bueckers became the first-ever NIL athlete to design and launch a Nike Player Edition basketball sneaker.
Bueckers has always cared about what’s on her feet, both on and off the court, so much so that she launched the first-ever Nike G.T. Hustle 3 “Paige Bueckers” sneakers. So, what shoes does she wear, and what is her sneaker choice on and off the court?

What Basketball Shoes Does Paige Bueckers Wear?
Simply enough, Bueckers wears her Nike G.T. Hustle 3 “Paige Bueckers” during a basketball game. She first released these sneakers on Dec. 7 at a retail price of $190. The sneakers feature Bueckers’ favorite colors, Baltic Blue and Vivid Grape. They also hold a double-stacked Air Zoom cushion on the bottom for more bounce.
Bueckers is widely known as one of the best women’s college basketball stars, and it’s very easy to see why. She averaged a career-best 21.9 points per game last season and led the Huskies to an undefeated 8-0 start in the new campaign. Their first loss came against Notre Dame in early December.
Since then, the women’s basketball team at UConn has picked up exactly where the men’s basketball team left off. They are 30-3 overall, with an 18-0 conference record, and play in the Big East Tournament Finals on Monday night against the Creighton Bluejays (26-5, 16-2).
Bueckers has been one of the brightest spots for the Huskies this season. She leads the team in points per game with 18.8 and assists per game with 4.9. She has shown time and time again that she can not only score but also does an excellent job of getting her teammates involved.

Prior to creating her own sneakers, Bueckers has always been known to wear Nikes, whether it be Kyrie 7 sneakers, Air Max 97 sneakers, or Sabrina 1 sneakers. Off the court, Bueckers keeps it simple and is known for wearing bedazzled sneakers, Nikes, Converse, and loafers.
Basketball and sneakers go hand-in-hand, regardless of gender. Bueckers set out on a mission to create a new pair of sneakers and follow in the likes of Sabrina Ionescu’s footsteps. Bueckers continues to break boundaries and show that even though there are not a lot of women’s basketball players making sneakers, she hopes to break that mold.
