After missing the game against the previous WNBA champions, the Las Vegas Aces, Paige Bueckers made their triumphant return, this time against the defending champions, Sabrina Ionescu and the New York Liberty. The former UConn star tallied 20 points and six rebounds for the night.

Her plays impressed many fans, some of whom started comparing her to NBA stars like Kyrie Irving. Meanwhile, others were just simply cheering her on.
“God made Kyrie into a White Woman, lord help us,” commented one fan.
“Having her on my WNBA fantasy team and I’m happy with the decision I made to take her early round💯” said another commenter.
“Somewhere out there Kyrie is excited and happy. The whole court was stunned and became motionless.” another fan added.
Meanwhile, some fans were just in awe of how well she has been playing, while others used this opportunity to lambast an injured Caitlin Clark.
“Paige game got some soul in it she got some type of bounce and handle… Caitlin b out there looking like Bob Cousey,” said one person.
“… this is why CC is sitting out. With her bad play, they would be comparing them like crazy right now. Paige is balling.” noted another commenter.
“Paige is the future of this league 🔥, we pray she stays healthy 🙏,” added another fan.
Bueckers was not the only big spark for the Wings, as her fellow All-Star teammate, Arike Ogunbowale, had a double-double for the night with 20 points, one rebound and 14 assists. Together, the two Wings stars combined for a total of 20 points for the 92-82 win, though this might not be enough for them to make the playoffs this year.

Meanwhile, as the Dallas Wings continued their season, Paige Bueckers is also in the middle of a relationship with former UConn teammate Azzi Fudd. Fudd chose to stay at UConn as she was still eligible, while Bueckers was already a senior and had to leave, choosing to enter the WNBA draft, where she was drafted No. 1 overall.
The Huskies star was spotted wearing an “I Love PB” shirt during the Wings vs. Liberty game, and she was certainly cheering her girlfriend on during the game.

The two have been spotted getting sweet with one another, with Fudd being called Bueckers’ “D1 Girlfriend” and Fudd referring to herself as “Paige Bueckers’ Girlfriend.”
