Paige Bueckers Shares 3-Word Message As Former Teammate Recaps Pre Game Fits Ft. $3350 worth Christian Dior Bag

Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings can’t seem to catch a break. They’ve lost eight of their last 10 games, and despite a 29-point outburst from Bueckers, the Wings lost against the Sparks in their last matchup.

Amid the disappointing season run, Bueckers recently celebrated her former teammate, DiJonai Carrington’s time in Minnesota. Carrington was traded to the Lynx on Aug. 3. She recently posted several pictures and videos on Instagram, showing her first two weeks with the new team.

“officially a Lynx🥳🥳🥳” Carrington wrote in the caption. “swipe to the end to see why 😂😂😩🫶🏽”

In some of the pictures, she can be seen carrying a $3350 Christian Dior bag during her tunnel walks. In one of the videos included in her post, Carrington is seen dancing with her Lynx teammates on the floor as they celebrate their mascot, Prowl’s birthday.

While Carrington is clearly having a blast with her new team, as evident from her post, Bueckers feels happy for her. She took to the comments of the IG post to share a message with her former teammate.

“You go girl,” Bueckers wrote in her comment.

The first overall pick of this year’s WNBA Draft, Bueckers made her regular-season debut with the Wings on May 16. They played together until July; after that, Carrington was traded. She played 20 games for the Wings this season, averaging 10.4 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 1.8 assists.

As a five-year veteran in the league, Carrington was like a mentor to Bueckers on a team full of young players. Even though they had a great bond, the Dallas franchise has had a terrible run this season so far.

DiJonai Carrington believes Minnesota is a better fit for her

There’s a stark difference between the two teams, the Wings and Lynx. While the Wings are struggling at the bottom end of the table, with only nine wins and 25 losses, sitting at the 11th position in the league, the Lynx are the best team.

The number one seed team has won 28 games, lost only five, and they are tied with the Las Vegas Aces for the longest active win streak with six straight wins. Carrington believes it’s a better fit for her because she is surrounded by winners and she made her feelings known after her Lynx debut.

“It’s been great. I’m glad to be a part of a team where we have a goal and everyone is fighting for that goal,” the 27-year-old said. “You can just feel the energy every huddle, every possession. This is a group of winners, and I’m a winner too, so it’s great to be a part of it.”

So far, Carrington has played four games for the Lynx, averaging 11 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists, while shooting over 55% from the field and 50% from the three-point line. The Lynx are one of the favorites to win the title this year, and if that happens, Carrington’s move to Minnesota will prove to be extremely beneficial for her.
