Former UConn star Paige Bueckers is early into her WNBA career as a new member of the Dallas Wings. Having been selected first in the 2025 WNBA draft, Bueckers has already established herself as a star. While her play on the court has been excellent, she has also done a good job bonding with her new teammates off the court.
On Thursday, Wings’ guard DiJonai Carrington posted a huge photo dump on Instagram. It included several photos of Bueckers’ stylish fits, many of which included group photos with her teammates.

Bueckers was included in two of the photos and decided to leave a funny five-word reaction.
“Wow made the cut twice,” Bueckers wrote.
DiJonai Carrington is in her fifth season in the WNBA, having been drafted in the second round of the 2021 WNBA draft. However, she is only in her first season with the Wings. Like Bueckers, she is new to Dallas, having spent the first four years of her WNBA career with the Connecticut Sun.
Carrington broke out last season, achieving her first 10+ point per game season. She has continued her success thus far this year, averaging 11.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.3 steals per game. She sits third on the team in scoring, only behind Bueckers and Arike Ogunbowale.
Paige Bueckers Continues To Draw Caitlin Clark Comparisons With Recent Record-Tying Moment
Since before she entered the league, Paige Bueckers was getting compared to Indiana star Caitlin Clark. Clark, who was the first pick in the 2024 WNBA draft, has become the face of the WNBA because of her dynamic play and three-point shooting. Last season, she set a record as the fastest player to 300 points and 100 assists.
However, in a game on Tuesday, Bueckers tied the record, scoring her 300th point and 100th assist in her 19th career game.

However, her record-tying game came later in the season than Clark’s did because Bueckers has missed time with injuries. Clark’s 19th game was on June 27 this year, whereas Bueckers’ was on July 22 this season.
