Two of the best young standouts in the WNBA, Paige Bueckers and Angel Reese, recently engaged in a hilarious back-and-forth about each other’s height, as seen on social media. On Sunday, Dec. 6, @overtimewbb on Instagram uploaded a reel featuring Dallas Wings guard Bueckers and Chicago Sky stalwart Reese. They were sitting beside each other during the New York Knicks vs. Orlando Magic regular-season NBA game at Madison Square Garden.
In the video, Reese starts roasting Bueckers for her height, given that she is shorter among the two. The Hopkins, Minnesota, native then claps back, pointing out that Reese was wearing heels to look taller.
“I’m with Paige right now, let me show you guys. Wait, stand, stand. You guys, look how short Paige is,” Reese said, to which Bueckers jokingly retaliated with, “She has like six-inch heels.” Reese immediately replied, saying, “No, I don’t,” and Bueckers firmly said, “Yes, you do.”
“Paige clapping back LMAOOO I love this duo 😭 @angelreese5 @paigebueckers,” @overtimewbb on Instagram captioned with a crying emoji.

Bueckers is coming off the 2025 WNBA campaign as the Rookie of the Year awardee for what was coach Chris Koclanes’ Wings team. For Reese, she bounced back after missing a great chunk of her rookie year in 2024, as she posted career-best averages to cap off the recently-concluded season for coach Tyler Marsh’s Sky squad. They are now enjoying the offseason as they prepare for the 2026 campaign.
Bueckers and Reese’s teams were unable to make it into this year’s WNBA playoffs, as both finished with identical 10-34 overall records, placing them at the bottom of the Western and Eastern conference standings, respectively.
Angel Reese Uploaded A Video Of Herself And Paige Bueckers Dancing On Her Instagram Stories
Along with the video that was posted on @overtimewbb on Instagram, Angel Reese uploaded a clip of herself and Paige Bueckers to her Instagram stories.
In this video, the two are seen dancing while endorsing the chocolate candy bar brand, Reese’s. Bueckers and Reese wore blue and orange fits as a nod to the New York Knicks and even the aforementioned brand.
