After their recent collaboration for a brand endorsement, Dallas Wings star Paige Bueckers and Chicago Sky stalwart Angel Reese are being called on by many to add Bueckers’ former teammate in the mix. On Thursday, Dec. 11, @overtimewbb uploaded a carousel post on Instagram that shows Bueckers, Reese, and UConn Huskies senior Azzi Fudd, Bueckers’ girlfriend, teaming up during their high school hoops years.
In the first slide of the post, Bueckers, Fudd, and Reese can be seen in a group photo for a tournament headed by global sportswear brand Under Armour. The next slide shows a potential connection between the three, as Fudd starts a fast break off a steal, through which Bueckers receives Fudd’s pass and sets up Reese for an inside score.
“This a future dynasty right here 🤩 @angelreese5 @paigebueckers @azzi35 (via @chetnweke),” @overtimewbb on Instagram captioned with an emoji.

Fans online started dreaming of the potential trio and are now hoping that the Wings franchise could pull it off.
“This would be the best thing to happen to Dallas,” one user claimed.

“OMG, I would be in heaven if this came true!!!,” another fan said.

“The Wings finna be a dynasty if this happens. CURT MAKE THE CALL,” another user exclaimed with a trio of crying emojis.

“@dallaswings make this happen, please and thank you,” a fan shared.

Other X users talked about how doomed the league would be if Fudd, Bueckers, and Reese were to team up in the WNBA.
“The league is cooked when this happens,” one fan posted with three laughing emojis.

“The league would be in trouble, Dallas would be dangerous,” another fan commented.

“This would just be unfair, and I’m here for it,” a fan wrote with a couple of emojis.

Bueckers is coming off an individually successful first stint with former coach Chris Koclanes’ Wings in the 2025 season. She entered the league with the momentum she garnered by winning her lone national title with Fudd in her final year of collegiate basketball. Reese, on the other hand, had an outstanding sophomore campaign in the WNBA, despite not making the playoffs.
Azzi Fudd Is Currently Projected To Go No. 1 In The 2026 WNBA Draft
The Dallas Wings, now coached by Jose Fernandez, hold the No. 1 overall pick once again after they used it to select Paige Bueckers in the 2025 WNBA Draft.
With this, in the most recent 2026 draft mock by ESPN, Azzi Fudd is projected to go first overall in the first round and reunite with Bueckers. However, Fudd’s focus remains on winning back-to-back NCAA titles for now.
