TCU Women gained a stunner win against Sam Houston, all thanks to Olivia Miles‘ electrifying performance. Winning by an 88-46 score-line, Miles added 22 points and nine assists to close the game on Sunday night. But what caught the attention of most fans besides her exhilarating show-up was her distinct homage to Las Vegas Aces point guard, Chelsea Gray.
Earlier at Unrivalled this year, in February, Miles admitted that she models some of her playing attributes after Chelsea Gray. On Sunday, after assisting a triple against Sam Houston in the fourth quarter, Miles did the same celebration of covering her eye like binoculars, the way Chelsea Gray did after assisting Angel Reese in an Unrivalled game. Within a span of 1:20, Miles had two assists and a triple to add to the scorebooks.

Of course, fans see glimpses of Chelsea Gray in the young TCU guard, especially from her style of play. Gray is best known for her playmaking and scoring prowess, which Miles is also combining at the same time since her new stint at TCU. One fan said,
“Bro is really a little chelsea 😭🔥 Point Gawd Jr.”
While everyone is seeing the vision of Olivia Miles maturing into a pure point guard, some fans have different opinions. It is well known that Miles has always supported Angel Reese through her career and has cheered for the Chicago Sky star while she played for Unrivalled as well. One fan on X (formerly Twitter) had this to say,
“She really is so unlikeable. She is almost as bad as Angel Reese.”

This was quite strange of a strange comment, as Miles is, in fact, one of the most highly touted stars in college basketball right now. As of now, the Horned Frogs guard is averaging 16 points, eight rebounds and six assists per game, while shooting 62.5% from the field.
Chelsea Gray Has Always Been a Huge Fan of Olivia Miles
It isn’t like Chelsea Gray isn’t aware of young Miles’ skills as a point guard in college hoops. Last season, when Miles was still playing for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Gray was one of the audience members in a game against the Miami Hurricanes on 21 February.
The Aces point guard was impressed by Miles’ bounce pass through the leg to assist a bucket and said she would try the same in one of her games. After the game, she tweeted the following,
Olivia Miles was in the crowd tonight. Was gonna try the transition between the leg bounce pass. 😂😂

It would be quite interesting if Chelsea Gray and Olivia Miles ever get to link up together on the floor, be it at Unrivalled or in the WNBA.
